Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the day-to-day operations of Theatre, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Ensure that patient safety goals are pursued and met in our theatres. Manage theatre schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
Manage theatre budget and ensure efficient use of supplies and equipment. Lead, mentor, and supervise theatre staff, including nurses,... technicians, and support personnel.
Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Maintain clear and effective communication with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.
Address patient concerns and ensure a positive patient experience.


Education & Professional Qualifications:


KRCHN/BSCN
Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya with a valid practice Licence.
Higher National Diploma or Equivalent or Higher in peri-operative nursing.
Managerial training is an added advantage


Work Experience


At least 10 years of experience as a theatre Nurse.
At least 3 years experience in managerial position. more
