Key Responsibilities


Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, and payroll
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring all accounts are accurate, complete, and audit-ready
Maintain control over inventory and stock movement; monitor reorder levels and support procurement planning
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ensure timely compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory filings
Provide light HR support, including maintaining staff contracts, tracking leave days, and assisting with onboarding/offboarding
Monitor the validity of operational licenses, staff certifications, and institutional registrations to ensure ongoing compliance
Be a point of accountability within the team, supporting a positive work environment and helping to address conflicts professionally when they arise
Coordinate with external auditors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure operational continuity
Support the clinic director in tracking operational follow-ups and streamlining workflow across departments


Requirements


Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or operations (experience in a healthcare or clinic environment is an advantage)
Proven experience in inventory management and coordinating with suppliers, including tracking stock levels, supporting procurement, and maintaining accurate records
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and strong Excel skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Emotional intelligence and confidence in calmly addressing interpersonal or operational challenges
