HND/BSC in Accounting. Membership of a professional body is an advantage.

Minimum of 3 years accounting experience preferably in a funded project.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles & standards and Nigerian tax laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

Research information and data necessary for grants and grant reporting.
Collect, analyse data and report secondary data for the approved data points
Prepare materials for submission and prepare interview questions

Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary

Conduct and record face-to-face and/or telephone interviews with subjects, in accordance with predetermined interview protocol, data collection procedures and documentation standards
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Disseminates information on funding opportunities and compliance requirements to TSCF staff, and Board

A Project Supervisor is needed for immediate employment in a Non-Governmental Organisation based in Umuahia, Abia State.

Support the Program Coordinator to manage the activities of the clubfoot program within an approved annual budget.
Assist in planning and programmatic review with the Foundation and its International partner, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and supervises the activities of... the Clinic Assistants to ensure that adequate communication is maintained with parents of children enrolled in the clinics to ensure compliance. This will include confirming that follow-up calls are made by the Clinic Assistants to the parents of the enrolled children, at least, on a weekly basis.
Support the Program Coordinator to compile reports for local and International partner(s), and other donors.
Assist The Straight Child Foundation with other clubfoot program-related tasks as needed.
Monitor and supervises the activities of the community Awareness Officers to ensure that adequate awareness is created in all the States where we have clinics. This will include examining the weekly strategic plans of these officers through the clinic coordinators.
Support the activities of the Accountant and Program Coordinator to ensure that funds are spent responsibly and accounted for in a timely and appropriate manner.
Perform other administrative functions as would be necessary from time to time.
