Your Daily Tasks 

Contribute to developing and implementing research priorities for IREX with particular focus on expanding awareness of IREX’s capabilities and enhancing the impact of IREX through research projects, tools and approaches.

Your Daily Tasks

 Serve as a focal point on partnership with Central Asian media, as applicable.
 Lead work planning to ensure that project design and design of all project activities consider support to target groups, including recommendations and     considerations of safety and long-term consequences.  
 Develop the package of internal and donor-requested documentation, related to the launch and implementation of the project.
 Provide oversight and technical expertise for the project activities phases in Central Asia.

Records all travel transactions.
Maintains accurate record and reconciliation in accordance IREX’s procedures, policies, and regulations.
Coordinates with counterparts and learns to maintain the travel accounts and enters the corresponding recurring journal entries in Costpoint as needed.
Manages the IREX’s Business Travel Account (BTA) and any assigned travel card. Follows up with counterparts to timely reconcile the related accounts.

Reasonable experience (12 to 24 months) of quantitative and qualitative data analysis in support of donor-funded development programs (USAID Experience will be an advantage)
Reasonable experience of using MS... Office Applications and other data management and analytics platforms (E.g., STATA, SPSS, R, SQL, NVIVO, DEDOOSE etc.) will be an advantage
Fluency in spoken and written English, working knowledge of either Spanish or French will be an added advantage.
Must demonstrate valid proof of unrestricted authorization to work in Kenya.

Your Daily Tasks

Support the development of MEL data collection tools for use by the Youth Excel team and implementing partners.
Support the testing and translation of MEL data collection tools where necessary.
Support the digital deployment of the MEL data collection tools where appropriate.
Work as part of a team to facilitate and support MEL operations including baseline, annual, and endline surveys, and regular monitoring data collection
Review data being entered in the institutional database regularly to locate and fix problems with data entry or integrity
Generate data summaries from the database at regular intervals, ensuring reports/information are available for program implementation, learning activities and periodic reporting when required.
Support regular check-ins to ensure all elements of the YE MEL system are being utilized effectively by all partners, assessing, and identifying gaps and areas that require clarifications and improvements
Ensure partners always have the most recent version of all MEL tools and documents.
Support program and institutional level research initiatives.
Support the collation, cleaning, and management of program data.
Produce analytical summaries as requested to fulfil reporting requirements.
Produce summary reports for use in learning activities.
Support implementing partners to review and use their data.
Ensure compliance with internal and external data security procedures and policies.
