The Business Planning & Performance Management Director is responsible for leading the company’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities. This role provides critical insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance. 

Responsibilities 
Budgeting & Forecasting  
- Lead the annual budgeting... process and develop financial forecasts.  

- Collaborate with department heads to consolidate and refine budget inputs.  

- Monitor variances and provide actionable insights on performance versus plan.  


Financial Analysis  
- Analyze business trends, financial results, and key performance indicators (KPIs).  

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and executive presentations.  

- Conduct scenario modeling, ROI analysis, and profitability assessments.  


Strategic Planning  
- Partner with leadership to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and cost-saving opportunities.  

- Provide financial modeling and decision support for strategic projects.  

- Contribute to long-term business and financial strategy development.  

- Reporting  

- Develop dashboards and visualizations for financial and operational performance.  

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial data.  

- Support board reporting and investor communications as needed.  


Process Improvement  
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy.  

- Implement best practices in planning, reporting, and data management.  

- Support system implementations or upgrades related to finance tools.  


 
 

Requirements
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise. 

- Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar). 

- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. 

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $165,000 to $175,000 (annualized USD).
