Your Key Responsibilities
- Complete role and tasks required in line with all risk assessments and company procedures. 
- Ensure accurate control of all finished goods, ensuring total traceability of product.
- Plan, develop and implement operational strategies maximising efficiency of manufacturing within cost budget levels and compliance within company policies and statutory legislation, without compromising safety, hygiene, quality, quantity and cost.
- Responsible for handling food products, maintaining high personal hygiene standards and observing all company hygiene, quality and housekeeping rules, as laid out in company induction.
- Drive product quality through the team and all systems available. Ensuring 100% compliance
- Ensure that development and training needs of individuals are consistently applied to create a proactive environment of learning, using training matrix data to achieve job rotation and ensure multi skilling.
- Lead and facilitate individuals and teams to deliver optimal levels of performance on cost, resource and service requirements.
- Ensure effective Management of allergens as well as critical control points in the factory.
- Ensure Paperwork is filled in accurately by the team in a timely manner, for all relevant tasks carried out.
- Maintain standards so that your department is audit ready at any given time.
- Support and deputise for Shift Manager when required.
- Manage disciplinary and grievances in line with company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement in all areas of the operation where greater efficiency, hygiene, quality and safety could be achieved.
- Lead from the front in regard to Safety at work ensuring weekly Gemba walks are included in your work schedule. 
- Ensure daily adherence to labour plan ensuring all variances are highlighted to the Head of Operations. 
- Carry out all other reasonable management requests on an ad hoc basis.
