About the Job
Looking for a fun summer job where you can interact with guests and stay busy? As a Games and FunPix Sales Team Member at Worlds of Fun, you'll work in park games booths and photo shops helping guests find souvenirs, ringing up purchases, encouraging/upselling... game experiences, and keeping booths clean and stocked. This role is perfect for those who enjoy customer service (hyping up the guests as they participate), fun activities, and working in a fast‑paced, exciting environment.

What You'll Do

- Create a positive and welcoming experience for guests

- Greet guests as they enter the booth or approach the register

- Cheer on and maintain an exciting attitude as guests participate in the games and activities 

- Operate Point‑of‑Sale (POS) registers accurately

- Keep sales areas clean, organized, and well‑stocked

- Restock shelves, bins, and displays with new merchandise

- Communicate clearly with your lead or supervisor

- Assist with other retail tasks and locations as needed

- Maintain a safe, clean, and guest‑friendly work environment




What We're Looking For

Overview:2026 Fright Fest Scare Actor Auditions: Next audition July 12th

Upcoming Scare Actor Auditions:
- Sunday, July 12th from 3pm-5pm
- Friday, July 17th from 7pm-9pm
- Saturday, August 1st from 4pm-6pm

* All Fright Fest applicants must attend an... onsite audition to be considered for employment. 
We are hiring seasonal Scare Actors for the 2026 Fright Fest Season. Must be able to work weekends in the fall. No previous experience necessary. We will train the right person. Get ready to have a terrifyingly good time this Fright Fest season. Scare some guests, make some friends, have new experiences, and earn money while doing it. This year, enjoy Six Flags Fright Fest from the other side!
Responsibilities:- Provide thrilling and atmospheric entertainment while interacting with park guests.
- Perform regularly in assigned area (Street Scare Zone or Haunted House) while adhering to schedules, as assigned by Entertainment Leadership.
- Develop skills/knowledge to maintain excellent quality show/appearance
- Follow through on performance/ safety notes to ensure progress in specific areas.
- Maintain personal appearance by meeting costume and makeup requirements.
- Assist in the daily operational aspects of assigned show, reporting prop/costume repairs in a timely manner.
- Interact and support fellow cast and crew members to maintain a fun and safe working environment.
- Execute backstage tasks and/or cleaning duties as outlined in daily schedule.
- Ensure adherence to safety and procedural directions that accompany this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

We are also seeking experienced scare actors who meet the following criteria:
Stilt Walkers – Height range between 5’11 – 6’4 – slender build
Female Actors – Height range between 5’5 – 5’8 – must be able to memorize & deliver a script, slender to average build
Female Actors – Height range between 4’10 – 5’6 – must be physically agile and flexible, slender to average/ athletic build
Male Actors – Height range between 5’8 – 5’10 – average build, strong vocal presence
Male Actors – Height range between 5’11 – 6’4 – average to muscular/ large build
Female Actors – Height range between 5’10 – 6’2 – thin to average build

 
Qualifications:- You must be at least 16 years of age to be hired as a Fright Fest Employee.
- Must demonstrate ability to perform in casted role during the audition process.
- Must be able to work outdoors during evening hours in various weather conditions.
- Must be available for all rehearsal and performance dates (schedule conflicts must be pre-approved).
- Previous performance in community/school extra-curricular activities is helpful but not required.
- Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
- Scare Acting can be a physically demanding job that requires you to be able to stand, walk, crouch for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, reach & lift up to 30 lbs. Some positions require ability to climb stairs.
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
- Must be able and willing to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, both behind the scenes and in front of guests.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to successfully complete all company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within set and established timelines.

Additional information:Auditions will be held at Six Flags Fiesta Texas rehearsal hall (17000 IH 10 West, 78257).  Arrive any time between audition times to be seen.  Parking for applicants is available in the Employee Parking Lot.
