On this role, you will:


Be responsible for exploring new customer leads and prospects, identifying, engaging and converting prospects to customer sale opportunities by executing gas sale and purchase agreements with customers.
Be responsible for driving new customer engagements, maturation and growth in AGOT and growing gas sales volumes at a minimum of 5% year on year to meet SEN’s growth targets.
Be responsible for maturing and delivering new customer connections in AGOT adhering to the SEN LOAD Manual, requisite Shell Trading and Supply process as well as the Shell Group Business Principles.
Be responsible for developing marketing strategies for the development of gas sale clusters in AGOT.
Be responsible for contract negotiations, renewals as well as functional reviews and negotiations of Gas Sales and Purchase, Agreements and other agreements to support SNG’s Business in AGOT.
Be responsible for managing existing customer relationship focusing on a deep understanding of the customers, their business, critical issues, growth, expansion plans and strategies.
Be responsible for engaging and managing customer relationships for maximum value and continuous improvement of SNG’s customers appreciation and loyalty to SNG’s brand and gas distribution business. 
Be responsible for enhancing SNG’s customer experience, building stronger customer relations towards optimum SEN customer service delivery
Be responsible for conducting market surveys, customer intelligence reports, providing business intelligence and improvement analysis as well as generating internal strategy documents and industry competitive landscape reports.


What you bring


BSc in a relevant field and 7+ years of experience in E&P, oil & gas, or gas distribution with deep knowledge of natural gas sales, marketing, trading, regulation, and commercial operations
Proven track record in commercial, sales, marketing, and business development in complex, multi-stakeholder environments in Nigeria; experience with gas commercial roles or local distribution companies is a plus
Strong understanding of commercial deal structuring and commercial agreements such as gas supply, sales, transportation, and infrastructure development
Skilled in building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders

Maintain well control by ensuring personnel is conversant with kick detection techniques and well closing in procedures and BOP equipment is certified, maintained and tested in compliance with Company procedures and standards.
Deliver wells on time and to the required quality standards. Track daily costs and take necessary action to deliver well within budget
Translate drilling program into detailed instructions for contractors and service companies. Compiling daily drilling report and other required specific reports

Join Global Change Advisory Board (XCAB) meetings and bring results back into local CAB.
