WHO YOU ARE


MBA or Master’s in entrepreneurship, global development, education, public policy or another related field.
Fifteen (15) years of experience at a senior level in global organizations with strong leadership experience in innovation, entrepreneurship/enterprise development, development and/or government or public policy within the private sector and/or non-profit organizations is required.
Six (6) years of exceptional leadership experience, building and leading entrepreneurship and innovation interventions/programs.
Demonstrated financial management experience including preparation and management of budgets, contracts, etc. Senior level experience in Africa and with exposure to international issues ideally is crucial. Private sector experience would be an asset.
Advanced expertise in developing and leading innovation and entrepreneurship efforts in Africa.
Proven experience effectively working with government officials, key players in the health space, business leaders, entrepreneurs and other actors.

Overview


The Customer Solutions Center is a new structure which enables Mastercard to develop better solutions & bundles for prioritized customer segments in markets.
It is the housing for all Mastercard capabilities in a geography, and it aims to drive Mastercard growth and revenue by creating and selling compelling data-driven, scalable needs-based solutions to new and existing customers... by tapping into Mastercard’s extensive toolbox of products and services offerings.
Products and Solutions support the Customer Solution Center Lead & Solution Architects to bring together existing MA capabilities, products and solutions in a holistic, bundled way to customers.
They also act as an expert for their products/solutions portfolio in their geography, to drive market enablement and support sales as well as acting as key interface with regional product teams to ensure an effective feedback loop.
Products and Solutions report to the Customer Solution Center Lead + regional function team (e.g. regional Digital Consumer Lead).


Key Responsibilities


Act as an expert for their geography/solution portfolio:
Bring their deep knowledge of digital products, services or platform capabilities to a solution-selling environment
Accountable for having a deep understanding of the digital product, service or platform. This includes driving Mastercard Tokenisation, Click 2 Pay, Passkey, xPays, QR and contactless capabilities in the market.
Provide visibility to the CSCL and SA on latest product developments within their purview and communicate accurate solution knowledge to tackle client opportunities
