About this position: 
The Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in driving successful project execution across business units with a focus on enhancing member experience. This role serves as a strategic liaison between business units, project managers, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment, clarity, and momentum throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of credit union operations across multiple departments and excels at translating business needs into actionable project outcomes.
 
What you’ll do: 
Project Execution & Oversight:
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure deadlines are met.

- Drive meeting effectiveness by preparing agendas, guiding discussions, and ensuring actionable outcomes.

- Ensure meeting insights are accurately captured, organized, and distributed to maintain accountability and momentum.

- Hold vendors accountable to agreed-upon timelines, deliverables, and expectations, escalating issues when necessary.

- Identify risks and roadblocks early and collaborate with teams to develop mitigation strategies.



Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Leverage broad knowledge of credit union processes to inform decision-making and support implementation.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts across departments to ensure solutions are practical and member-centric.

- Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or systems.



Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Act as a primary point of contact between business units and project teams.

- Facilitate clear and timely communication to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.

- Translate business unit needs into project requirements and ensure alignment with member experience goals.



Continuous Improvement:
- Provide feedback and insights to improve project methodologies and member experience strategies.

- Document lessons learned and contribute to best practices for future initiatives.



What you’ll bring:
- Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

- A bachelor’s degree in business admin or computer science preferred.

- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.

- Experience in member experience or customer journey mapping.

- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.

- Proven experience in credit union operations across multiple business units.

- Strong project coordination or project management experience.

- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in project management tools and collaboration platforms.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
