A day in the life of a Laboratory Attendant

Co-ordinates all sampling and dispatch of samples for internally and Outsourced laboratory.
Act as a backup for the Sensory analyst
Preparation of analytical media, decontamination, and Lab waste disposal.
Liaises with Warehouse supervisor for timely sampling of incoming raw materials and packaging.
Assist in analysis of raw materials, Environmental, semi-finished and finished products under the supervision of the microbiologist.
Timely escalation of Quality & Good Laboratory practices deviations to Microbiologist.
Participates in proficiency tests, Internal audits and other quality defect reduction projects.
Ensures effective housekeeping in the laboratory.
Management of Reagents inventory and other consumable items.
Execution of any other duties as assigned to by the Line Manager.

A day in the life of a Replenishment Specialist:

Generation of optimized replenishment orders in Nestlé or customer replenishment system while balancing inventory and service goals using information such as sales history, forecast and customer/Nestlé stock availability. 
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely shipping and receipt of relevant documents needed for product... clearance.
Proactive engagement with customers and sales team to ensure  out of stock risks and generation of effective mitigation actions required (i.e., defining stock allocation rules for limited stock).
Using  replenishment excel based tools  to drive   alignment with Nestlé and Customer  to manage   inventory, invoicing ,  lead-times  and  meet delivery  dates while focusing on meeting  monthly business objectives.
Collaborate  with cross-functional business partners such Physical Logistics, Demand and Supply Planning (DSP), Finance and commercial teams to drive business & replenishment activities.   
Engage with customers to resolve issues and concerns related to shipment , documentations, stock replenishment and invoicing and to serve as the primary point of contact and advocate with export customers.
Drive and encourage continuous improvement within the team moving to a more efficient exception management process meeting all internal/external KPI's and service level agreements.

What will make you successful?

Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management.
3 years operational experience in order fulfillment role preferably in FMCG.
Understanding of Logistics processes including Materials Handling e.g., picking to deliver, transport optimization.
Understanding of the O2C flow and key business functions outside of the O2C stream.
Proficiency in Data analysis and working  knowledge of  Excel.
Good communication skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of SAP.
