The Role: 

As Business Controller you will contribute to the growth by supporting and advising the GM and the local Management Team in the area of business control throughout the organization. 
Supporting the Finance team to develop their Financial reporting in accordance with Atlas Copco Financial & Management Accounting Standards and IFRS norms and standards, and local GAAP and other... regulations as required.
Support the setup and integration of the Monterrey PC into the standard Atlas Copco / VTBA environment. This includes, but is not limited to, introduction of Edwards SAP and setup of the future building and site.
To lead and develop the controlling processes in compliance with Atlas Copco rules and guidelines with the objective to improve speed, quality and reliability of the reporting.
To lead the planning process for the organisation and make sure all the Mexican Legal regulations are met.
To secure that adequate internal control processes are in place and that Atlas Copco Group processes are followed in the spirit of "The Way We Do Things".
To be responsible for the monthly closing and to support PC and divisional management with financial analysis, reports and forecasts.
Provides accurate, actionable and timely financial reporting, with root cause of variances, and commentary that leads to an understanding of the business, enabling improved decision making and identification of opportunities.
Supports capital investment requests by general financial advisory to wider business.
Responsible for standard cost accuracy including active participation in Global Cost Roll.
Responsible for alignment of Processes and Team Structure to the new way of working under new Business Model for the Organization.
To drive improvement projects in the area of administration and business control.
Support setup and management team of Monterrey (Mexico) PC as and when required. 
Work closely with and provide guidance to the Finance backoffice functions in Brno FSC (AtR, AP, Internal Control and others). Closely engage with the other Edwards US sites (sharing one legal entity) and with AC Holding NA, as well as Divisional and VTBA headquarter in UK. Build network and alignment with other PC Controllers in VTBA and help improving Divisional, BA and AC processes.

What We Expect of You?
Education and experience

University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
5+ years working experience as a Business Controller within an AC Product Company or Customer Center
Experienced building and managing performing teams; record of coaching & developing employees
Track record of improving financial performance by driving meaningful actions with the business/operational functions
Experiences within VTBA considered a plus

Required knowledge

Fully bilingual Spanish and English speaking, writing, and reading.
Strong knowledge of AC Finance & Administration procedures (FAM), as well as GPS
SAP Finance experience; knowledge of Edwards SAP and BW / PowerBI considered a plus
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
Excellent P&L and Balance Sheet understanding
Strong cost accounting and product costing knowledge
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills

Maintain one, common, agile, transparent, high performing IT organization with clear responsibilities and targets resulting in increased service levels for the business units in EMEA.
Ensure an excellent end user experience of the IT services within your region by enabling a strong interaction with the IT service global teams to secure that end user feedback is adopted to IT services.
Remove complexity from the users and make it simple to use our systems and easy to get support when needed.
Ensure adoption and execution of Atlas Copco IT Services strategies. Local services must be delivered in line with global standards and guidelines, and local regulations.
Ensure that the Group common IT components (systems, infrastructure and applications) run smoothly and cost efficiently in the region.
Ensure that we provide the right training to the IT Services organization and to end-users, at the right time.
Ensure that the Group IT environment is secure and that all users in the region are aware of the Group policy and guidelines related to IT security
Ensure high quality, timely and cost-effective delivery of common IT projects related to the region.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in all areas with focus on security, speed, cost and quality.
Be fully accountable for the IT service delivery in the region, with full responsibility for the cost and KPls for the region.
Work closely with the Service and Product Owners and other IT teams to optimize the services efficiency.

Technical Skills 

A demonstrated ability to successfully manage and provide leadership to a large remote team.
A high level understanding of the solutions used in IT Services
Working knowledge of the value and use of standard IT processes and methodologies (i.e. ITIL, PMI and SDLC). 
A good command of the English language
Experience of Atlas Copco and IT Services is considered a plus.
