What You Will Do

Program Coordination and Implementation
Program Rollout: Collaborate with the EIDU operations team to coordinate the planning and execution of EIDU program rollouts at the county level as per the standard EIDU... delivery model ensuring implementation fidelity
Coordination Meetings: Organize regular meetings and working groups to ensure smooth program management between government and EIDU teams.
KPIs: Support the implementation of departmental Operations KPIs.
Admin tasks: Carry out administrative tasks assigned to ensure smooth implementation and continuity
Travel: Spend significant time in the field, traveling to diverse project sites to collaboratively engage with stakeholders and guarantee successful program outcomes.
Cascade Training and Activation: As a master trainer, deliver a cascade training model to improve the performance and skills of Government stakeholders during TOT training Teacher Supervisors and Teacher training.
Teacher Support: Enhance the capacity of government officers through continuous coaching of the teacher supervisors to ensure adequate support to teachers by influencing them to review program performance, prioritise, plan and conduct School visits frequently.
Tech support: Provide tech support to schools directly or to the teacher supervisors.
Data Analysis: Analyze school performance data, provide feedback, and support reporting
Utilize the provided data to plan classroom observation visits for government officers to support teachers.
Quality Audits: Conduct quality assurance audits through use of QA tools in schools as instructed to ensure the EIDU program aligns with set KPIs at the county level.
Utilize EIDU dashboards to compile and present reports on program progress to county directors of education and executive leaders, promoting the use of dashboards for active monitoring of educational initiatives.
Continuous Improvement Training: Deliver ongoing training programs to enhance the skills of EIDU officers across various aspects of their work.
Onboard new EIDU Officers: Oversee the structured onboarding process for new hires through training, ensuring they acquire the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to perform their roles effectively.
Insight Gathering and Sharing: Establishing mechanisms for collecting and disseminating best practices, lessons learned, and relevant insights from program implementation.
Inform Optimization of the EIDU Delivery Model: Analyze insights and training outcomes to identify areas for improvement in EIDU's operational model and processes and provide recommendations for optimization.
Provide peer mentorship to other EOs focusing on the development of essential skills related to program implementation, data analysis, and stakeholder engagements.
Work closely with the regional manager/Sr EO to monitor and advance government relations efforts, ensuring that educational goals are met and relationships are strengthened.
Conduct regular review meetings with the Government Officers to support them in teacher cluster review meetings.


What You Should Bring


A Bachelor’s degree in education.
Minimum of 5 years experience: 3 years of training experience and 2 years of team management experience

The Regional Manager will play a critical role in leading EIDU's operations across the county. This involves building strong relationships with government officials, overseeing contract management, and coordinating training initiatives. Government Engagement

What you will do:


Lead in county government engagements to pitch new counties and advocate for program support and sustainability.
Lead the process of onboarding new counties into the EIDU program, ensuring successful program rollout and retention.
Facilitate contract signings, renewals, and payment follow-ups with counties to ensure sustainability of program and retention.
Facilitate communications between EIDU and the Counties including organising monthly County stakeholders meetings.


Team Leadership And Performance Management


Lead, supervise, and support a team of EIDU Education Officers across the county.
Recruit and coordinate onboarding training of new team members as well as conduct regular performance appraisals.
Foster a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and mentoring team members.


Operations Management


Lead and oversee all operational tasks at the regional level, participating in county and national activities.
Integrate cross-functional support by collaborating with Quality Assurance, Training, Government Relations, Procurement, and ICT departments.
Monitor program implementation and usage across counties to ensure KPIs are met through data analysis, field visits, and officer liaison.
Guide EIDU officers in developing effective travel plans and workflows.
Take full ownership of regional planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to monitor and improve program performance.

What You Should Bring

What You Will Do

Oversee the Field Operations team, Procurement and Quality Assurance. Make sure key operational KPIs are met during the implementation, activation and continuation of the EIDU program.
