Scope of Work

Scan for Vulnerabilities - Check for spam that may have surpassed filters.
Repairs and Fixes - Checking for errors, bugs, and broken links.
Browser Compatibility Testing - Ensure that all aspects of AAIK website are functioning correctly in the most common browsers.
Software Update - Includes the content management system, its themes, and plugins. Also, upgrade of non-critical... software if they are worth applying.
Website Backups - Ensuring that website backups are performed every week.
Site Speed - Ensuring that the AAIK website's speed is above per.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Identify the issues which are affecting the ranking of the AAIK website.
Analytics - Through the Google Analytics dashboard, check the crucial metrics of the AAIK site and the trends in those key metrics.
Functionality - Check all the essential functions like filling up signing, contact, and checkout forms to ensure everything works smoothly.
Website Content - Regularly review of content, correct mistakes, and upload new information with targeted words in a fresh style.

Required Qualifications:

A University degree in computer science/ IT or any other related qualification
Demonstrated hands-on work with Graphics and images
Previous experience in websites for charities, NGOs, or campaigning organizations.
Experience using web analytics platforms (preferably Google Analytics), with the degree of proficiency required to run reports.
Experience working with various Content Management Systems (including Drupal).
Experience managing a ticket-based maintenance backlog for website development.
Experience in developing in-depth audience insights and flexible tools to respond to engagement opportunities.
Experience managing websites with multiple functionalities - e.g., fundraising, supporter engagement, and policy informing.

Excellent project management skills and the ability to initiate, coordinate and deliver on the web and online campaign and engagement projects that involve several other parties.

Overall Purpose

The post holder will provide administrative and programme support on the Strategic Partnerships for Agroecology and Climate Justice in West Africa (SPAC-West Africa), Nigeria project.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative support:

Documentation and filing of the SPAC-West Africa, Nigeria reports.
Support in the tracking, documenting and maintaining files... on key issues in the news that are of interest toSPAC-West Africa, Nigeria project in collaboration with project team
Support in the development of project success stories
Support in the process of fund advancement and retirement forSPAC-West Africa, Nigeriaactivities
Support in the procurement processes of services and goods including development of service providers and consultants Terms of Reference and contracts

Programme:

Support in data collection on the SPAC-West Africa, Nigeria project from the field; collation and documentation of data for the overall AAN Food and Agriculture indicators
Support the operationalisation of management information systems for capturing and managing data including baseline and coverage information, emanating from project work in the communities, states and national.
Support documentation and information sharing of theSPAC-West Africa, Nigeria project activities.
Liaise with AAN Food and Agriculture team and other AAN units in ensuring the SPAC-West Africa, Nigeria project and core Food and Agriculture programmes are effectively mainstreamed.
Support the SPAC-West Africa, Nigeria Project annual planning and budgeting process
Any other tasks assigned by line manager.

Persons Specifications

Educational Qualification:

First Degree in Social Sciences or Arts / Humanities

Experience:

Essential:

At least three years post NYSC experience in programme administration and agriculture
Experience in community mobilization
Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook (MS Office in general)

Desirable:

Experience in Agroecology, Food and Agriculture and climate change
