Review and refine systems to facilitate monthly management reports and dashboards


Examine data collection and how it leads up to management and board reports and decision-making, before making recommendations for improvements, developing the templates for monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, and introducing automated management dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PAYE processing, bank reconciliations, and core accounting functions. Key roles and... Responsibilities


Process PAYE (Pay As You Earn) tax and ensure timely submission to tax authorities. Prepare and file statutory deductions, including NHIF, NSSF, and other payroll-related taxes. Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow tracking. Identify and resolve discrepancies in bank transactions and statements. Process payments, manage petty cash, and ensure proper financial documentation. rack customer invoices, follow up on collections, and ensure timely posting of receipts. Maintain proper records of transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and tax filings. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and ledger reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting procedures, and tax regulations. Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Recommend and implement improvements in financial processes to enhance efficiency.


Skills and Qualifications


Diploma/ Degree in accounts/ Finance or a related field 
CPA/ ACCA will be a plus.
Min of 3 years experience in a busy organisation.

Handle transactional enquiries received from walk-in customers, via phone, email, WhatsApp etc.
To resolve customer problems / complaints by applying the appropriate customer handling skills on the spot and escalate the case to Regional Head of Customer Services when necessary.
To feedback customer comments to the Regional Head of Customer Service - Africa for service improvement.
Forward enquiries on local activities to relevant staff members.
Help meet Africa sales target such as new students' recruitment by executing outbound calls, send out SMS, and email campaigns to clear the pipeline.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

University degree in a business-related field including; Commerce, Economics, Accounting and Business Administration.
Full professional accountancy qualification (CPA (K) or ACCA).
At least 5 years of audit experience preferably in a large audit firm.
Experience in the use of a modern audit execution and management software.
Capacity to work independently and under pressure to meet stiff deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain the highest levels of integrity and objectivity.
