WHAT WILL YOU DO?


Accelerate NPI launches through engagement with Global & Regional functions.
Create and maintain cross-functional commercial launch readiness and launch plans.
Organize and facilitate launch team meetings, track decisions and issues, and follow up on action items.
Communicate program and project plans to ensure common understanding among stakeholders and team... members.
Report progress and ensure full visibility and support.
Conduct extensive field tours.
Create and implement direct sales strategies.
Prepare sales forecasts.
Attend clinical meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers.
Monitor and report on competitive activities in Africa.
Implement and maintain the Abbott Quality System.
Plan and implement business plans for new market penetration.
Collaborate with company heads to set business objectives and development goals.
Conduct market research and establish strategic partnerships.
Ensure business processes comply with regulations.
Conduct contract negotiations and ensure profitable deals.
Set and enforce customer service standards.


Qualifications:


Degree in Health Sciences and an additional business-related qualification.
5-7 years of sales and business development experience.
Experience in private and public sectors.
Experience selling to mining, pathology, educational institutions, and NGOs.
Experience in the Africa region.
Proficiency in project management, communication, influencing, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
Technical skills in report writing, PowerPoint, and business-related computer skills.
Language skills: English and relevant local language

Major Responsibilities

Coordination with Distributors for order processing,
Order processing –Quotations and Invoicing
Work with all internal stakeholder to find common working platform and drive assistance to the sales team in order to deliver the numbers.
Data analysis to create sales presentation, pipeline review sheets
Ensure sales team are following all internal process to driving POR... creation, vendors and events management.
Ensure team is following OEC approval process for meetings, event and conferences
Follow up with sales team Forecast review and alignment
Follow up on with Sales team on orders and alignment with finance team
Sales Force management, uploads, data validation
Request flights, accommodation, visa and car hire for the division
May include support in tracking budget expenditures
Completing purchase order requests and ensuring that all relevant documentation is attached with appropriate approvals
Expenses received from team members to be recorded in a register and handed over to CFS for further processing
Scan and save all relevant Contracts and Master Agreements on the Contract Shared Drive
Invoices submitted to CFS for payment

Qualifications And Expertise

Microsoft Excel Software (Advance Level)
Microsoft Word Software
Microsoft PowerPoint Software (Medium to Advance)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business coordinator/
English written and spoken is mandatory.
