I got employed last month after about 5 years of freelancing. We work in an open office, and I am surprised that employees have shouting battles with the management as we watch. I'm a student looking for a part-time job as a waiter in a cafe. On my first day they told me to work for free so they could see if I was good enough for the job. I worked 10 hours. The next day the same thing happened. I worked another shift and still didn't get paid. Now it's the third day in a row. They want me to work another free shift and say that if everything goes well, they'll officially hire me on Monday. But I don't really trust them. Maybe this is their trick - they keep bringing in new people, make them work for free for a few days, and then replace them with someone else without paying. What do you think? 11h
Do someone else is worrie about how much is rising the rent?? I move here after the huracan Maria, and my rent start in 900. Everutime I have to work more or have another job and the rent is keep rising. You expect get better condition, but not. Middle class,singel, inmigrant, caregiver are facing the unsupport and lack of action from the goberment. They dont quaify for full assitance, voucher for housing, goverben healh insurance, . They are living for work and pay bill. Even buy a car is hard due not just the cost and gas, INTEREST are the same than the half of the payment, plus the monthy insuranc than you rarelly use but if yo use the rise you paymen too. Also, dealer ar stilling on the transations. And dont even wish to have saving or buy your own house, because you can get a loan, but the house you can affor are beign selling to cooporation or investors. BUT DONT WORRIE the goverment has making just two brand new houses to be give on lottery this year. And if you are unable to appreciate that big efforce is becous you have MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AND NEED THERAPY. At our company we go away for a weekend once a month. The boss buys everyone barbecue and beer as a thank-you for our work. But we have to pay for our own hotel rooms. I know I'm bringing my wife, so we'd need a double room anyway, but if it's a company event, shouldn't the company pay for the hotel too?
