Hi everyone! I'm looking for a job now, so I made a good resume and prepared well for interviews. I read articles about how to act and what to say during interviews. Yesterday at an interview I asked the employer what they could tell me about the job that wasn't in the job ad. I also asked if it's possible to get promoted in that role and what I would need to do. After that the interview ended quickly and I felt they wouldn't hire me. Was it wrong to ask those questions? They were in the tips I read for job seekers.

I’ve depended on my husband my whole life. First I was on maternity leave, then I waited until the child got older and now I’ve gone back to work and even earn some money. But I’m still financially dependent on him - I spend my money on small things for the child and groceries. There’s nothing left for myself. I always thought companies should help their own employees grow and move up. But it's not like that at my job. The managers prefer to hire people from outside instead of letting us switch departments. They say it’s because two jobs would be empty at the same time and they’d still need to find someone to replace me. It’s really annoying and makes me not want to try so hard anymore. Greetings good people, I just want your advice on this situation. Am working at a certain CHAM facility in the southern region of Malawi as a diploma registered nurse grade J. since 2016. I upgraded to degree in 2021 but since then I have not been promoted to grade i. Iam still working on the same grade despite being given leadership roles at ward level. In April, 2025 CHAM secretariat and the government conducted a functional review across CHAM facilities with an aim of creating chances of promotions . We are still waiting for the feedback. Meanwhile the government conducted promotional walk interviews of which I attended. We are also waiting for the results. I f I have the opportunity of being one of the successful candidate, I will definitely get posted somewhere. If this happens, should accept the offer?? What about the functional review results ended up promoting me but on the same institution, where I should I go ? Help me please making a decision.

2 years ago I asked for help from my family, I needed to buy equipments so that I can start a small business God willing I received that help. Management advice! My wife and I started a community school and we have been running the school as directors since 2014. In 2023, we got an intetnational Ngo that helped with agrant to build 3 class rooms. This ngo works with a local private company to send in its grant money to our school in four installements. The intetmediate company after completing the 3 room block, disguised to send another extra instalment which is partly used to finish the teqchers houses. We later discovered it was money extra and decides to send back this money to them. The intermediary requires us to send the money with interest and our struggles begin.. we payd back upbto 40% untill we have no income to continue paying. We have failed to run the school and urtery evrything has been destroyed, no income and doing farming to survive and our children are droping out of school. The Ngo is pushing to throw us away witbout any thing we take home. The ngo is intetnational and it hides behond this local company to do silent impounding/ forcefully buying the school. We have no job as the school has been discontinued due to this problem. Hi, ive been struggling to find a job suitable for my son's schedule since he has OT, PT, & Speech Therapy every week. I currently work at CVS as a pharmacy tech.
